Photo competition: what does the nexus mean to you?

This has now closed – thanks to everyone who took part.

What do the links between food, energy, water and the environment mean to you? Let us know by entering our online Nexus Network photo competition as part of the ESRC Festival of Social Science. We would like to see how food, energy, water and the environment connect with your everyday life, at home, at leisure, at work, travelling…anywhere!

We invite everyone to take part, from around the world and we look forward to seeing your pictures, with a sentence on what the image shows.

Submit your images by Friday 30 October 2015 – This has now closed – thanks to everyone who took part.

Please read the full competition rules before you submit your photo on the photo competition page. Competition closes on Friday 30 October 2015.

Prizes

Unfortunately we are not able to offer any cash prizes! We, the Nexus Network, will arrange for the winning images to be printed and framed for display at the Nexus Network second annual conference in London, on Thursday 19 November 2015. We will also give the winning images widespread coverage by using the digital images on our website and social media.

What is the nexus Network?

The Nexus Network highlights the need for joined-up thinking on the links between food-energy-water and the environment. We are interested not just the physical connections, like growing food, producing energy and supplying clean water, but also how we as individuals, and as societies across the world, make decisions on access to resources. Join the network to keep up to date on our events and activities.
